For ShutterDownEasy Magazine Issue 12, Kristina returns for a brand-new summer bikini photoshoot featuring a bright blue bikini, golden-hour light, and a creative way to cool down on one seriously hot afternoon.
What started as a simple outdoor bikini shoot quickly turned into one of the most fun concepts from the session.
It was hot. Really hot.
So we grabbed a bottle of water—and let Kristina cool things down.
A Blue Bikini Summer Photoshoot with Kristina
Issue 12 features Kristina in a vibrant blue string bikini for a relaxed outdoor summer photography session. The simplicity of the location allowed the focus to stay exactly where we wanted it: on Kristina, the natural light, and the bold blue color of the swimsuit.
As the temperature climbed, we started incorporating water into the shoot. Kristina poured the water over herself while we continued shooting, creating a completely different look and giving the second half of the session a spontaneous, summertime feel.
The water catching the light added another visual element to both the photography and video—and became the inspiration behind the theme of the issue:
SUMMER HEAT.
